ANTI FADE GUARANTEE FROM BRADCOT

Why are Bradcot able to offer a
10 year anti fade guarantee
on their Acrylic fabrics?

It is because of the way we manufacturer our material. The most common way to dye woven material is vat dyeing, where the fabric is simply immersed in a vat of dye. This is quick, cheap and efficient.

To improve the the quality of the dyeing and the depth to which the colour is present within the fabric, yarn dyeing is favoured where the yarn is dyed prior to the weaving process. This is not as cheap as vat dyeing but it is more effective.

Todays "State of the Art" dyeing technique is fibre dying. where the fibres which make up the yarn are dyed by a process called solution dyeing. The fibres actually change colour and this gives the maximum possible colour depth.

Liken the end result of this process to a radish and carrot - while a radish is red on the outsite, its white on the inside. A carrot however is coloured all the way through! In the same way Bradcot's fibre dyed acrylic gives colour throughout.
